Well, first off... super stoked to launch the new format finally. In the new format we'll typically feature 3 songs from the artist with some interview between the songs. The idea here is to create a bit more of a connection with the artist. I think this new format really lets you see a bit more of their personality and gives you a better idea of what makes them tick. I've been contemplating this for a while, but decided to take the bullet and see what the feedback is... so please, if you love it or hate... take 2 seconds to let me know.

One of my music scene insiders tipped me that Alysha was coming to Nanaimo and that I should check out her music. Part way into the first video I watched, I knew I wanted to shoot with Alysha. She was very receptive to the idea. Special thanks to the management at Acme for letting us use the basement lounge for the shoot. Kudos also to Jordan Stringer and Jesse Bone for coming along on the shoot. I hope you enjoy Alysha's music and the new format!
