If you've been following naked.jams at all, you've probably started to notice that the great majority of the sessions have been with guys... something I've been wanting to balance out for a while. I had met Alex when she accompanied Peter Mcgee on session.010 and then again when she was singing harmonies for Jon Bone on session.019 and I was eager to hear some of her original music. We setup a shoot and she mentioned that she wanted to bring along a good friend of hers, Emily Smythe, that she often performs with, so we ended up shooting 2 of Alex's originals (track.02 & track.03) and 2 of Emily's (track.01 & track.04)

As usual, the weather kinda threatened to re-arrange our plans, but last minute things turned around the rain held off. We had lots of fun with our locations on this shoot... a cemetery, the acoustic room @ Music Maxx, smack in the center of the skatebowl and then lodged deeply in the middle of a rhododendron grove. Lots of fun!!! Great locations & great music.

Jesse Bone came along to capture some behind the scenes action.
