Part of my challenge with this project is keeping the diversity and the freshness alive! So as I was looking out for some new talent to bring into the mix one day I came acros DJ AI. Most of the work he does these days is producing some pretty sick instrumentals, but I noticed as I was reading through his bio that he started off in his early days doing some acoustic hiphop, so I asked him if he wouldn't mind reaching back into that closet and bringing some of that back out for us..... and as you can see... he obliged!

He was enrolled in the very popular music program up at VIU and that's where he honed his chops on the jazz guitar so as you'll hear in the tunes, there's a pretty interesting mix of jazzy tempos and hiphop lyrics coming together. Including one of my favourite songs to come out of the 90's.... Passing Me By by Pharcyde.

Enjoy the sesh! We did. Oh, and we even had our first run in with security.... make sure you watch track.01 right to the bitter end to meet Mr. Comissionaire! Funny.
