Johnny had contacted me sometime ago about doing a session, but as the project gets better known, the waiting list for musicians gets longer & longer, so it had been a while since we initially talked, when Johnny hit me up again. He was working on getting his submission together for The Peak FM's Peak Performance contest and really needed to get some video together. So we set something up in short order to make sure he had enough time to get the submission in.

We decided to meet up in the Long Lake area and go for a stroll and pick whatever locations struck our fancy at the moment. I had listened to only a couple of Johnny's tracks, so I had an idea of what to expect, but I was really really impressed with what came out of Mr. Good! This dude has some talent!!! Admittedly, it's not going to appeal to everyone. Johnny Good definitely does not subscribe to the philosophy of creating for the masses. He strikes me as someone that writes and plays what they feel, alot more than what they think (if that makes any sense).

As I often say, one of my favourite parts of this project is the editing stage, because I get to rediscover what we captured on the shoot. When we're actually in production, I don't really get to fully experience the music because I'm more focused on what and how I'm shooting. With each song I was just more and more captivated by Johnny Good's music. I'm really looking forward to working more with him in the future and seeing how his career develops.

Big ups to Adam James for helping us out on the audio!
