Okay, so... these guys tracked me down through someone else that we'd done a session with... Christopher Arruda I think. I checked out some of their music on youtube and their site and was really intrigued. Very different sound, very original. I likey! I knew this one was going to be different than any of the other sessions because it was a full 4 piece band. Along with the acoustic guitars there would be an acoustic bass. Cool. A mini drum kit with a djembe playing the role of snare. Nice. But what really got me excited was when Dane told me there would also be a banjo, accordian, toy piano and e-bow! Okay... now I was stoked to shoot this one. Well, not that I'm not always stoked... but EXTRA stoked.

Gold and Shadow totally delivered! Thanks guys, so much for the performance. Super thanks to Wilson Pascoe for pulling off the audio. Capturing a 4 piece band with all these different instruments is not the easiest thing to do with one microphone. But Wilson nailed it. Thanks bro! And thanks to Jesse Bone (jessebone.com) for coming out to shoot behind the stills for us. Gallery will soon be posted. Of course... wouldn't be right if I didn't say thanks to Music Maxx for helping us out as always!
