After a few misfires, I've finally got around to getting session.002 completed. Wow, was the wait ever worth it. Mike Edel really rocked this session! He totally got the point of the project and dove in with both feet.

A friend of mine sent me a link to some of Mike's stuff on youtube a few weeks back and I had a feeling right away he'd be a good match. We managed to kinda sorta set things up for a Sunday afternoon that I was already going to be down in Vic visiting some friends. As one might suspect would happen I woke up with a very groggy brain on that Sunday morning. When Mike called to say he was good to go, I wasn't really sure how things might unfold. I lifted the blinds and it wasn't pouring for a change so that was a decent sign. Then, thanks to some power failures, I was having some troubles rousing my audio operator... so after a quick scramble to arrange a back up, things were set. We decided to meet down in Chinatown and see where things went. As you'll see in the videos... they went great! Like Mike said while we were shooting, magic things happen when you play live, and it's so true. That was really part of the vision of this project, to create uniqe and interesting live performances. Technically perfect, no. But you can't argue with the fact that they are one of a kind performances that you'll only see here!

Big thanks to Mike for agreeing to be involved and for doing it whole-heartedly. Thanks to Mark for picking up the torch with the audio (we'll get you next time Adam!) and also thanks to Music Maxx for supporting naked .jams. If you need instruments or parts or rentals, they're the guys to see! Enjoy the videos!!!
